Isla Grant - Lough Ree.mp3

Here you will always find the American flag

waving and the American eagle flying.

Happy Fall/Autumn everyone!! We had a really nice

visit with the family. I am hopefully back on track now

and will publish pages as often as I can. I will begin

decorating for Fall beginning today. I have some really nice

pictures, graphics and such to share. So enjoy. "Thank you."

Flowers are food for the soul

It would appear these were left behind for good

reason(s). Wore out!

It does not get any better than a collie

pup and kittens.

A chocolate fix today complete with marshmallows.

I do hope the person who happened to leave

Teddy here will come back for it. Perhaps it was

placed there just for this neat picture.

Such a neat quilted table runner and if I had something like

this, it would be displayed on the wall. Neat!

Tis the season!

What a peaceful picture someone captured.

This little light of mine,

I'm gonna let it shine.

Crock Pot Chex Mix Recipe

Note: Please ignore the little numbers you see. "thanks"

  • 2 cups Mini Pretzel Twists

  • 2 cups Italian Four Cheese Cheez-Its

  • 1 stick Butter, melted

  • 1 Hidden Valley Ranch Mix packet

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan Cheese

  • 1 tsp. Salt

  • ½ tsp. Onion Powder

  1. Add Chex, Melba Snacks, Pretzels, Cheez-Its, and

  2.  Cashews to Crock Pot, and stir well to combine.

  3. In small bowl, combine Ranch Mix packet, Parmesan

  4.  Cheese, Salt, Onion Powder, and Garlic Salt. Stir well

  5.  to combine.

  6. Pour seasoning mixture over snacks in Crock Pot, and
  7.  stir well.

  8. Then pour melted butter over snack mixture in Crock

  9.  Pot, and stir well.

  10. Cover Crock Pot with lid, and place a paper towel just

  11. under the lid to collect the condensation when

  12.  cooking. {this will keep your Chex Mix nice and

  13.  crispy.

  14. Cook on LOW for 1.5 - 2 hours, or until done. Make

  15.  sure to stir well at least every 30 minutes to avoid

  16.  burning.
  17. Once done, spread Chex Mix out on wax paper

  18.  the counter to cool. ENJOY!

I used 7 quart crock pot, but recipe can be cut in half

and made in a smaller crock pot.

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container to munch

 on during the week.

Autumn Prayer

 O God of Creation,
you have blessed us
with the changing of the seasons.

As we embrace these autumn months,
May the earlier setting of the sun
remind us to take time to rest.

May the crunch of the leaves beneath our feet
remind us of the brevity of this earthly life.

May the steam of our breath in the cool air
remind us that it is you
who give us your breath of life.

May the scurrying of the squirrels
and the migration of the birds
remind us that you call us
to follow your will.

We praise you for your goodness
forever and ever.

The Summer went by so quickly and I don't like

that .... here is hoping you all have a

wonderful Monday.

Now, till another time, be safe in

all you do. Be aware of everything and

everyone around you at all times. A

very good habit .... take care!
