“Health ... Prosperity ... Modesty ... and Peace of Mind

are gifts we all take for granted!

If you have one or more of these, then fall to your

knees and give thanks!

Stay constant in sharing your many gifts with others .....

Sharing is caring!

Realize, appreciate and be grateful for the

very essence of your existence

Do it every day and “Do It Big !!!!!”

--- Jimmy Hagewood

Of course there will be disappointments

and the way will not always be as I expected it.

But if it seemed easy, then that would be the time

to worry that I am on the wrong path.

- Anne Perry

When life is too easy for us, we must beware

or we may not be ready to meet the blows

which sooner or later come to everyone, rich or poor.

- Eleanor Roosevelt

Do not pray for easy lives.

Pray to be stronger men.

- John F. Kennedy

Looks like this might have been a waiting

room at one time. No more waiting here,

that is for sure.

Out in beautiful nature with

the pine trees and hills/mountains.

Someone at one time must have needed

the truck bed and the motor and tires.

Such a neat town square. You suppose the

large brick building is the town hall?

Love to see Christmas trees in windows.

What a neat little arrangement. If I had to

pick which item(s) would be my favorite, I

would have to pick the teapot and the

mug with the hearts.

Now I would say Dad and son are sampling

the milk and cookies to make sure they are

just right for Santa.

Yes, Winter can be so pretty, but I never

quit longing for Spring, Summer and warm!

I would say Santa has quite a decision to

make. Gotta love his underwear! :-))

And how many remember these kinds of

lunch buckets? I certainly do and it was the

highlight of a new school year. Getting to pick

the right one out. I still have my Annie Oakley

lunch bucket. Who remembers Annie?

Use an egg slicer to slice butter into

individual pats. This tip also works

for fresh mushrooms. I do think they

make heavy duty ones so to speak.

Mine is pretty flimsy - but gonna

shop around ....

Chocolate Christmas

Crunch Cake

1 box of chocolate cake mix, prepared per box directions

1 can of Eagle Brand milk

10 to 12 Oreos (I used the red holiday ones), crumbled

1 cup Peppermint Crunch

Christmas sprinkles

1 large Cool Whip

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Prepare cake mix per box directions and pour into a 9 x 13 inch glass pan.

Bake per box directions. As soon as the cake is finished, remove it from

 oven

to begin cooling. While the cake is cooling, take the handle end of a
wooden

spoon and poke holes all over the top of the cake. Pour the entire can of

Eagle Brand milk down over the warm cake and into the holes. Continue to

let the cake cool at least 30 more minutes.

After the cake is cool, spread your Cool Whip over the entire cake.  Top Cool

Whip with Oreo pieces, Peppermint Crunch and sprinkles.  Refrigerate at least

2 hours  up to 2 days.
So simple, right?  The peppermint crunch adds that Christmas pop to a basic

chocolate cake.  If you can't find the Peppermint Crunch at your grocery store

(it will either be on the chocolate chip aisle or next to the holiday baking),

you can substitute chopped up pieces of candy cane.  Easy and festive...

You took the time, thank you!

What a wonderful feeling

this can be!

That's all for today. Hope your today

is full of happiness and blessings galore!

And now till another time, be safe in

all you do. Be aware of everything and

everyone around you at all times. A

very good habit .... take care!
