Thanksgiving - 2014

November 27th

I will return to publishing pages on Dec 1.

Family is coming up from Florida to spend a week with

us and will be staying at our home. We only see them

once a year and are looking forward to spending

time with them and catching up in person.

Thank you.

Thanksgiving Day is a jewel, to set in the hearts of

honest men; but be careful that you do not take

the day, and leave out the gratitude.

~E.P. Powell

Thanksgiving Day comes, by statute,

once a year; to the honest man it comes as

frequently as the heart of

gratitude will allow.

~Edward Sandford Martin

Thanksgiving was never meant to be

shut up in a single day.

~Robert Caspar Lintner

This chair would appear to be one that a collector

could save and refinish into a beauty.

No saving this I am afraid. It would appear

the rear claw feet are gone and it is

it surely is in bad shape.

I do love this picture. The love of

friends shines here.

What a beautiful setting for a picnic. Love

the little camp stools.

And Mr turkey -- the talk of the town.

This kitten knows where to keep warm.

Looks like Grandma has the Thanksgiving

bread baked and I am sure her kitchen

is smelling mighty good.

A very seasonal wreath. I love it.
