Here you will always find the American flag

waving and the American eagle flying.

The Vernal Equinox..........

Are you ready for spring? After our frigid winter, we

are! This Friday, March 20, brings the vernal equinox

at at 6:45 P.M. EDT.

The word equinox is derived from the Latin words

meaning “equal night.” All over the world, days and

nights are approximately equal. Today, the Sun rises

exactly in the east and sets exactly in the west.

Starting in spring, the days become “longer” than our

Wind northeast or north at noon of the vernal equinox,

no fine weather before midsummer. If westerly or

southwesterly, fine weather till midsummer.

Just look at the detail on the piano's

legs and up from the keyboard. Can you

only imagine the beauty it had when it was

cared for. The cross sitting on top of the piano

I find interesting. Too bad it was left behind.

I think I might have doubled up with this one and

have posted it before. I find the item with the

coffee can in it interesting. Wonder what type

of business this might have been?

Pretty, pretty. A butter dish perhaps? But it

looks too wide for that?

Well, yesterday we had purses all decorated.

Today someone thought these hats needed attention.

Very cute and clever.

And they are on their way. Glad it is warming

up. Now, look out everyone. The pond is

their afternoon stop.

Truly Spring written all over this picture.

And what is not Spring about this? A pretty

budding tree or bush and a pretty robin to stay.

You took the time, thank you!

What a wonderful feeling

this can be!
