Here you will always find the American flag

waving and the American eagle flying.

Home of the

Christmas songs, decorating and

celebration of the reason for the season.

So adjust those eyes and ears, I have

nothing but festive and beautiful

music for you to enjoy!

The Christmas tree:

Most often is an evergreen tree which stays

green throughout the year.  It reminds us

of the everlasting life given to us through the

birth of Jesus.

Love the greenery around the large door frame on

this home. Just enough but not too much.

This burlap, greenery and pine cones really

go well with each other. Nice! A seasonal

combination that can be left up during Winter too.

If I got the opportunity to name this flower it

would be the snowbird. Pretty white and the

red berries top it off.

And who says you can't take a neat t-pot

and make a decoration out of it. Clever

quick and neat.

Love the snow effect. So much to see here. The pine

roping, the wreaths, the door decoration, the red boots,

the firewood ready for a warm fire and all the

candles hanging and sitting everywhere.

Every kind of heart one could want. I think my

favorite would have to be the Gingerbread boy

and the Gingerbread girl. Love the buttons

on a double of them as well. A lot of love

went into making these.

Pretzels all decorated for the holiday!

What lucky folks live here to have these X-wide

steps and be able to decorate like this. Wow,

how festive and pretty!

A chocolate fix for sure! I would probably never pick up

plain ole brown cupcake liners, but seeing them here

just changed my mind. Perfect. Leave all those printed

and fancy ones for someone else I say. :-))

I do love this table setting. The fruits are perfect along

with the red and white colors. The plates with the

red birds on them and the checkered napkins

fit in just right.

Please know that I have not tried all the

recipes that I post. "Thank-you."

HOT CHOCOLATE MIX

The below recipe is for a jar mix that you can turn into a

very nice useful gift.

Or it can be used for yourself.

Just layer the ingredients in a Mason jar and decorate the lid.

INGREDIENTS

4 cups dry milk

1 cup unsweetened cocoa

2 cups of sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tsp instant decaffeinated coffee (optional)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If not doing the Mason jar, mix the ingredients and
put them into a plastic container of a zip lock bag.
Label the mix ... use 1/4 cup per cup of boiling water.
This recipe makes 20 cups and is delicious.
On the night Jesus was born, there was a
bright star placed in the sky to lead the wise men
to Jesus.  The star reminds us that we should all
follow Jesus, the light of our salvation.
Follow the star to Jesus.
